From what I understand impressionism means a lot of different things. Key aspects are capturing the moment, reactions to lights, and experimentation with colors and combinations. That's what this is. Trying new hair, playing with skin tones and light reactions. Hair inspired by Mary, the rest is my Neo-Post-Modern-Impressionism.

For anyone that still pays any attention to this little ol' blog I have a little treat. I'm going to post my sketches that will potentially become paints here. Keeping that in mind most of these aren't going to look that great... but the concept will be there.

This first batch is a play off of my fire nymph from before. I have wind, water, and earth next in the line up.

I want to work more with the blind contour drawing feel...I think it can develop into a cool style. Obviously I didn't have it down when I drew this (motivation for me to try again). I think this is from 2 years ago.
